I have to agree with Raxu, the sky is incredible, have you used indigo?

Re: Inverroy 2
The stylized outlining against that incredible sky gives me a sense of the surreal! The light (yellow, white) of the sky and the U of the mountains and inverted V shaping of the foreground element give great focus.

Thanks to all for commenting
Rachel, I bought a palette of winsor and newton artists half pans with no indication of the colours in it, the colour you refer to is either Indigo or Prussion Blue

Henry you wip these out like there is nothing to it. But I know better; what a great moody painting. That bloom is great as a brooding cloud. I love the evergreen trees on the left and touches of red.

Re: Inverroy 2
Henry, I like that you place a path in which to enter the scene. Lovely painting.
