I did a lot of night scenes when I first started with OP's. The moon seemed easier to capture than a lot of other things. I really like American Tonalism and tried to copy a few of those masters, with varying degrees of success. This is the first dark landscape I've tried in a while, and definitely the first with rugged, rocky terrain. Not my strong suit, but I like trying!

Amaya - I like that it reminds you of a woodblock print! Must be from the palette. This is my first effort at a nighttime landscape in awhile, but I have done some. Thank you for your comments!
