I did think the subject looks like Dylan Thomas - but that nose is very wrong for him (I don't think he had 140 published works either ... {edit}unless you can count each poem separatly{/edit})

This is of Noël Coward (says he with full, if erroneuos, confidence)

Thought I'd add these two more just to make this thread complete, since they are the two most famous paintings by Klarwein.

Annunciation, 1961, used on the cover of Santana's 1970 album Abraxas.


Bitches Brew, 1970, painted specifically for Miles Davis's 1970 album Bitches Brew.
