Re: P&I forum challenge: October 2019

I finally uploaded my camera so here's a bunch of stuff at once. All of these are in my sketchbook.

I've been doing quick sketches to get used to the dip pen again.

Here's a quick rough sketch of my kitchen for appliances. This is my new fridge it has one of those windows on it that shows what is in the fridge. Seems very silly but I love it!

This is another quick rough sketch based on a photo from pixabay. It's a haunted house for the Hallowe'en prompt.

I had put this one with different lettering in the Inktober thread but I didn't like the lettering so I redid it. I didn't redo the bear, I cut the page the lettering was and did the new lettering on the next page in the sketchbook then glued it. That doesn't show up in the photo but you can see it in real life.

For next month.

Wow, that's some fridge Virginia I'm not surprised you love it. Your house reminds me of the old Adams Family tv series, I can just imagine Lurch playing his harpsichord inside.☺
Super lettering and Bear. I've looked the calligraphy forum but being left handed is another problem to solve and I've enough on my plate with Inktober.

Nice set of drawings Virginia - and a BIG fridge with window - wow!...... but, does that mean keeping everything ultra-organised in case of peeping by visitors?

I love those scary-looking houses you have over there - as in Psycho!

Superb bear and lettering!

Re: P&I forum challenge: October 2019

Hahaha! The window looks dark until you tap on it, thank goodness!

My house before this one was an old Victorian. It was a lovely house and it had a huge deep old basement with stone walls that were three feet thick and weird turns and tunnels. It was a great basement but so so creepy!

Here is my female Lowland Gorilla, unfortunately for the prompt endangered. I used this for the mini forum's monthly too. The colored ink is much more a sepia in real life. It was done with a dip pen and a brush for the colored ink. 5x5 inches.

For next month ~ an old house

Re: P&I forum challenge: October 2019

Since I haven't seen any Dragons in real life I had to depend on researching on the Internet to get an idea of how a dragon might look and came up with the following:

I did draw this as a participant of Inktober.

Suggestions for next challenge: ornament(s), Fall Floral(s)

Virginia - I thought I'd commented ages ago - sorry!
Yes, sad about endangered species - but this is a lovely drawing!

Nice dragon Barbara - I'm not sure how we'd see these (or sea serpents and unicorns) in real life either! Love this skateboarding one though!
The Fantasy forum loves dragons (or did) so you could cross-post there! ..... and Pinterest is a good source for seeing them ....... unfortunately, our dear old RIL is short of such images!

Re: P&I forum challenge: October 2019

Hi. Iím new to WetCanvass. Iíve been wandering around the site and divided I might not break any unwritten rules by jumping right in, do here goes.

I grew the pumpkins I used for inspiration. Their shape, color and textures fascinate me, as do most plants and food.

My suggestion for next monthís prompt is water.

Barbra, I love your dragon! I think some of the human skateboarders could use head to toe armor!

Rottridge, those are lovely. I normally grow pumpkins but didn't this year. I'm regretting it now! Your pumpkins appear to have landed on someone! They must be huge.

Tresgatos, such a clever idea for inktober, great drawing too.

Rottridge welcome, impressive pumpkins, I like the idea of the 'squash'ed
body underneath☺
