beautiful, is it drawn with chinese ink?
yes it is chinese brush and ink but it was a trial, as a friend gave me a cake of "solid" ink, not the grind yourself type, or the bottled liquid, so is lovely and great for travel.

astrid, I have the set with the grind yourself, and cannot seem toever grind enough for a dark ink
should try those bruses again, I have a great book on chinese painting.
hmm another idea for the black and white exchange

I will post a photo of the three types I have in the weeders weekly
yes I also find I am too impatient to grind a really good dark but did see a student in one of our classes do a fairly dark dark and then Our teacher "cheated and added the liquid to it. only because of time constraints. He said we were supposed to sit and think about what we were about to paint while we did it. hee hee

Donna has also gotten her cone flowers and I am certainly happy that bold colours are OK with everyone - as you can see I tend to lean that way.......
