new scanner - can't read from camera now
geez technology!
installed a new (HP) printer with scanner and now paint shop doesn't recognize that i have a camera anymore! pops up the new scanner instead. well i can't upload images from my camera via a scanner!
paintshop has an option to 'import from scanner or camera' that i've always used, but doesn't give an option to actually choose 'scanner' OR 'camera'.
is there a simple fix for this?
i looked in control panel under printer/scanner settings, didn't help

Maybe try try a fresh install of your camera and its software it came with?
Also use the software that came with the camera to upload to your computer. Maybe that will be less confusing to your computer?
