Manedwolf; I have done a couple of drawings with them and find that they are a bit more firm than the Prismacolors. I may do a combination of the two, using the Prismacolors where I need more blending. So far I like them.

May all your mountains be small and your rivers be shallow.

I have the 120 Prismacolor set in the tin which is great for storage of the pencils in the studio, but I have been looking for a portable case to carry pencils with me as the tin does not have the most secure lid for carrying the tin around.

I looked at the pencil case recommended above on Amazon and it looks like a really good type of case... Thanks for sharing the information

I use that Derwent case for my prismacolor because I really only use them in class. I bought some extra pages that I keep in the front with the colors that I'm using on my current class project. Maybe the protectiveness of the case is why I don't have a problem with breakage.
