The homework for next Saturday is the following. I want you to create a line that is about 5 inches long that would seem like the Manhattan skyline. It should have no repeated widths, heights in negative or positive spaces.[/SIZE]

Okay! I have tried this with pencil and Photoshop Elements. It is really difficult.

Here is my skyline drawing. It wasn’t so easy to keep good elements of shapes and lines.

This is very hard when you think its right you find something that does not fit.

here is my manhattan skyline. Sorry the lines are so crooked, its the first time I have used paint program to draw lines. I dont know how to erase lines once I have put them down, so I cant fix the mistakes. Drawing this was almost like using an etch a sketch. I am learning so much in this webinar. I have told all my artsie friends about it.

Yes but you succeeded no protrusion or indentation is repeated. Now we have to think that way with tree, rocks, evergreens, etc
