I nearly gave up on landscapes and painting in general a few weeks ago… paralyzed with anxiety. But. Instead I doubled down and started a big canvas, thinking it might not have the problems of these little landscapes. And I feel good about it, though I can find many problems.

The Wallowa river in eastern Oregon last October, 18×24.

C&C welcome, the more incisive the better...

                    Well done, Lisa.

A painting is never really done as long as I can get my hands on it.

You really can handle foliage, trees, etc.

Nicely done. All the elements are great. Grass, foliage, water. Keep at it — this is a very good painting.
