Re: Quick Dry Café - January 2018
Snow... A long time ago in a land far away (northen Ohio) we averaged 3 meters of snow a year. One year, after a prodigious Lake Erie snow, I sculpted Rodin's The Kiss - life sized - in the middle of our extensive lawn. After the effort made the local papers people would slowly drive by or stop to take fotos. I was goaded into lighting it at night. This show went on for more than a week, until a local official pointed out that there was a town ordinance against public art exhibits containing nudity.
My argument that neither Donald duck nor Frosty the Snowman wore pants was not considered a relevant defense at town hall.
