Re: Hunzinger’s Hill
I love the rhythm of the land, which you've shown to us. A painting that has something new to offer, every time you look at it. Great job!

Nice work Jim! This is so representative of the farmland in your area. How is the weather down your way today? We still have a few patches of snow hanging on up here.

Sleet and rain. It looks like Minnesota and the Northern Prairie going to get a pretty good dose of winter today. There was some hope that our winter was over earlier in the month but those hopes have been dashed. Still snow banks on the north side of fence rows and road ditches but otherwise it’s pretty well all grey and brown. Because there has been so little snow this winter there is a real concern about ground moisture but we probably won’t need to start filling sandbags.
We know that we have one more waive of winter coming because the girls’ state basket ball tournament is this week. We always get a blizzard for the Girls Tournament.

Re: Hunzinger’s Hill
As always, your work is beautiful. I love how the sky really separates from the land - the complementary colors and soft focus clouds contrast so wonderfully with the land. I don't think I'm explaining myself too well, but I really like this!
