Re: Show me your whiteboard work!

I too have made quite a few whiteboard attempts with only 2 real successes. This one is my favourite, called Puddle Discovery 8x10. Did it about 3 years ago while living in NZ.

Re: Show me your whiteboard work!

I've done more work on white boards than black.

I use both the Claybord & the Aquabord.

Here's one on Claybord:

Here's the WIP thread for it: http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=915432

This one's on Aquabord

And the WIP thread for it: http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=939776

Re: Show me your whiteboard work!

Hi all; I would like to add a few of my white boards to this great collection. I tried white before black which I think makes it easier to do then the other way around. I find that to my taste, the black boards are more dramatic, detailed and appealing, but it is nice to try something different once in a while.

Re: Show me your whiteboard work!

Here's a couple of snow scenes done on white boards:

Both have airbrushed skies and snow. The snow is scratched with fiberglass brush. The second one also has graphite trees which were scratched using the Ampersand broad curved knife blade

I'm new to these forums and I'm pretty much blown away by the beautiful work shown here. I'm just beginning in scratchboard and white clayboard. Thanks for sharing. It helps!

Re: Show me your whiteboard work!

Hi. I am a long time artist but fairly new to scratchboard. This is actually my first whiteboard attempt. I like it pretty much, although it seems pretty gray to me. I used Ampersand white clayboard. I colored some of it with india ink, scratched, then painted again with clayboard ink, then scratched again.

Re: Show me your whiteboard work!

Some gorgeous work here.

I had posted the only piece on white board I had done before all the chaos of the lost posts. I hadn't seen this thread, so I'll repost it here.

Can't remember exactly when I did this, a couple/3 yrs. ago perhaps. Acrylics, airbrushed background, that drove me CRAZY!!!
