Clearing the decks so I can get started on this months challenge. Not all totally finished, but all almost there. This is a big win for me.
1. Will add a glimpse of tail feathers, and adjust the eyes and beak. ‘He’ is swinging left. Oil pastel over an ink pour.

2. Self portrait! No … can’t think of a name for it. Oil pastel on canvas.

3. Another self portrait . .. Oil pastel over acrylic, with some walnut oil (Jeffro ) added.

Cool!! I love all of them. The self portrait is the best for me, but the birds are beautiful and fun. I admire your imagination!

Thanks Terri. I had an Instagram follower ask me what drugs I was on when I painted. I don’t know how Icome up with my ideas but it’s sure not drugs. But it got a good laugh from the family.

That’s funny!! The mention of drugs points to a lack of imagination for many folks – they must not understand that drugs would only muddle the mind and make it impossible to focus on art!

I also really like the dynamic 2nd painting!

Oh, what a weird question from that instagram guy. I would be confused too!
