Re: Spaceport

painted lots of itty bitty dots! Starscape is working and may get more celestial interest added to it as I go along. The planet is very much still under construction.

Re: Spaceport

Looking good. Did you actually paint all the dots or use the flicking technique?

Hi Kerry & everybody commenting on this Tutorial! The star Field is looking very nice! Rich in color! ***Kerry- A side note when you start on the Centaurs...Amara should be only a half head shorter than her Husband- Argon! (Look at the other paintings of them) Keep doing what you're doing! Fine Work! Sincerely, chiron22--Don Kephart

Re: Spaceport

Hi, y'all! Here's an update. I am still working the starscape, planet, and, now also the tavern on the right side. Still have some critters to finish in the tavern but the starscape is mostly done … unless I decide to add something else to it!

LavenderFrost; I used both methods on the starscape. Splattering with a brush and hand painted.

Don, got your phone message! I'll try to call you tomorrow after noon. Yes this is a 14 x 18! Just made an error on the invoice … I really must stop 'copying' old invoices … if I can't remember to change the important info, lol! Thank you for bringing that to my attention. You must think me a real dingbat. (I freely admit to dingbattitude where busness dealings are concerned!) Thank you for having my back! I'll make it up to you when my current sketchbook is filled - soon!

Hi Kerry and every one! First of all...Thanks Kerry for letting me know the size of this Tutorial! It saves me any worry! Every thing plus your Dingbatism is forgiven! Again, your Starfield is Excellent! The planet's land masses & scattered clouds are Very good & will get refined later on if I know you! The Club, Dance floor and Bar room looks very precise & the colors are bright! * Most Bars in a civilization among the planets are low keyed light but on a modern SpacePort with all the modern conveniences The lights are bright! In the Bar the little Yellow Fuzzy Wuzzies Dancing with all their might! I would guess the Gal with the pink Hair is from a Robot world with her own form of plasma, moving around the ship! A small Centaroid with two rear legs!? And other assorted Aliens! Looking good! Till next update, every one stay happy & healthy! Sincerely, chiron22--Don Kephart

Re: Spaceport

I want to dance with those fuzzy wuzzies, they are adorable and they look like they have a good groove going.

Re: Spaceport

I did a lot of jumping around this time. I turned the 8 limbed creature on the right behind the girl-bot into two centauroids. I also painted in the base of the walls … and will add a pair of avian creatures up in that high corner. I also painted in a base for the waitress and re-defined the main two centaurs.

Re: Spaceport

Thanks Dianna! I liked that attitude in the first Sketches of the server and tried to keep it, even though the figure did morph into a totally different being. They can all tend to shape-shift without warning until this one is signed and shipped! 😆

Re: Spaceport

I've been working the infrastructure of the ship, such as the walls and floors. This is several layers done and some detailing on the floors. I'm also about to re-size the female centaur as I had her about a half head too short, but, that's a fairly easy fix. See my pencil marks re-drawing her legs. Bigger is seldom a problem. Smaller is not so easy! I still have critters to finish in the bar area to the right, yet, and of course all the figures in the main view port area.

Re: Spaceport

Looking good I wish you the best on the resize, I think that would be so hard to do and this stage of the artwork. You seem confidant, so you go for it and good luck.

Re: Spaceport

Looking good. The leg lengthening makes sense, she did seem short. It's interesting to see how you're doing it. I always enjoy your WIP's so much.
