I am planning an October Michigan vacation including (hopefully) some plein air painting. I am trying to decide whether to take oils or Golden Open Acrylics. Oils often have a richer look but the Open Acrylics will not require carrying wet panels home on the plane. I will paint with both – trying different palettes – while I am trying to decide.
