Gimp, projecting and printing

Hello all near & far

I have just started using GIMP Photo editor

Am getting the hang of it though experiencing some trouble whence attempting to transfer to usb thus having it read (or not in this case) by my projector

Have tried exporting worked image into png & jpeg (which is what the projector - very cheap one that i have- usually reads )

any help on the matter would be appreciated

Re: Gimp, projecting and printing

Can you provide more detail on what specifically the problem is? Apparently you've been able to export the image to a png or jpeg file. What error do you get when you transfer the file to the USB drive? And what operating system are you using?

Best Wishes!

Format the usb drive on a format that can be read by your projector. If the usb drive is for example in ext4 or something similar there are good chances that the projector's software can't read it.
