Eagle and cliff WIP.

Hi folks. This is my first time posting in "Animals and Wildlife" - wow, lots of talented folks here.
This is a 20" x 24" acrylic on Masonite. I still have to finish the tail, neck and head of the eagle, but I'm liking the cliff. C&C always welcome.

Hi Painterdude, welcome to the A&W forum

I really like your painting. Great detail in the feathers and I like all those diagonal lines in the cliff face. There's a good sense of movement. Hope to see you again

Re: Eagle and cliff WIP.

Jim a very warm welcome from myself and all the Animal Art Members
A beautifully rendered painting of both the Eagle and the cliff. I like the very graceful feel this painting gives and I can almost feel the rush of his wings as he soars past the cliff. Hope we will see more of your artwork here in our Forum.

Re: Eagle and cliff WIP.

Thanks, vmrs
That cliff was 90% done with a ball of those tough workshop paper towels, dipped in different colors. Hey, as long as it works, lol.
