Sunflowers.... again ...

You can tell that I love sunflowers. And I have one more canvas started and I have a vase with sunflowers on my table that will use as models for a third canvas

18 x 24 inches

This is a different and bold approach to a much painted subject. Unique and lovely. Great brush work.

Thank you Derek! I love sunflowers. And I am ready to paint few more canvases with sunflowers and I really want all of them to be different than others painted and different than this one too. I hope I will be able to do it!!!

They are also lovely out in a field in a row.....has to be the right time of year.

Derek, I miss the sunflowers fields. I didn't see any here where I live now. They were a lot of sunflower fields during my childhood time.
I put some seeds in my small garden every summer and I enjoy watching them grow and bloom. This year I studied them in the different lights of the day or I had them inside on a vase. Next year I will do the same. Probably then I will try to imagine I have a whole field in front of my eyes
