Glad your possum is back where he belongs, Shirl. Liked the pics.
Gloomy today, but warm. Heading into the city for DH's durgeon appt.
I'm hoping the landscaper will call today so we can get this project underway.
Love hearing about your dogs as it has been a long time since we have had one, though I see my daughter 2 often.

Have a great day.

Pat

Yes Steve, the mention of food is an automatic attention grabber.

Pat, here's hoping for a good report card from your DH's surgeon.

Did a casual inventory of paintings I need to prepare for the up coming art fair season. I have 18 painting to frame....or mat. I may just mat a few of them and put them in my print bins as original works and frame the rest??????

Pat, while the trap we caught the possum with was "humane", sadly, I'm not sure what happened to it after it left here was. Is there a rainbow bridge for possums? Here is an interesting link on the critters, which also has a sidebar to read about other critters.

Thanks, Shirl for the link. Interesting. We have quite a few around here who often come up to the bird feeder at night to snack. Because our coyote population has increased, I don't see as many as I used to.

Re: The Oil Gusher May 2012

Howdy all - just cheking in so you know i'm alive.

We had a week of real summer and I felt so much better for it and used the energy to catch up on stuff that needed doing. Been busy preparing my pieces for the UKCPS deadline at the end of June. Just HAD to be out in the sunshine! Then yesterday the pressure went up we had a minor storm and I felt so ill. Then at bedtime I realised I'd forgotten to take my meds in the morning. Not been too good last couple of days but being woken at stupid o'clock by next door's dogs doesn't help!

Shirl - they have 3. The staffie is quiet until the others start. The little terrier barks at her own shadow and starts off the jack russel then all 3 go. When the neighbours go out they shut them in the bedroom - next to mine and they just howl. Glad you've solved your possum problem 'll check the link after I've posted.

Steve - it's odd but I'm not worried ab out the heat. i'm usually hypersensitive to temperatures but this has been nice. i do try to stay in the shade though. i think Weds was the first time I felt warm. The dry sunny weather definately helps me. No bone or muscle pain. I have extremely fair skin but i use Factor 50. Where i've been driving my right arm is more burned. Love the dog photos.

Weather not so good today - it did forecast rain but not seen much. i've seen and heard severl conflicting forecasts for the long bank holiday.

No jubilee celebrations near here. Nobody bothered to do anything and the town council are too tight to spend any cash on it. Next towns either side have soemthing but organised but independent societies. So i guess I'll just watch on TV. No being part of history for me...... I barely remember thee silver jubilee... I think I was too drunk lol
