Hi all:clap:
Another exciting week for sure. I thought I’d break it up a bit and do the rough sketch today and add colour etc tomorrow.
A4 canvas paper. Sketch done with graphite’s pencil.
C’cs welcome. It’s only a sketch at this point so plenty of chance to fix anything.Sandy. :wink2:
C&C always welcome

She never seemed shattered; to me, she was a breathtaking mosaic of the battles she had won. - Matt BakerNovember 16, 2019 at 12:26 pm #908112Your sketch looks very good, I am looking forward to seeing you finish it!
And a good idea to start off with the sketch, so that you can jump right into it, tomorrow! Might try to get started tonight, too.

November 18, 2019 at 4:08 am #908105Thank you everyone.
I added acrylic paints, acrylic pens and pearl powered pigment in gold and crystal I had. Unfortunately the powered pigment doesn’t photograph well but all good. I used artistic license to soften her stern look and gave her a little more of a smile.
C’cs always received with the aim to learn.Thank you Valri for the reference.

http://Sandrakatich.shutterfly.comNovember 18, 2019 at 7:06 am #908115zoomed in to look for the metallics, there’s the crystal on the choker? she looks even more primal, like a hunter, obviously just about to move. the skin tones are beautifully done, translucent, real and ethereal.
C&C welcome
November 18, 2019 at 12:08 pm #908111This has come out very well. There’s a hypnotic quality in the reference which you have really captured. We can see something of the metallic effect, no doubt it is quite striking seen in the flesh.
C&C always welcome.
