Snoqualmie River and Little Si

Hi folks,

This is a 6 x 8 oil on panel from this morning's weekly plein air outing. The view is looking up the Snoqualmie River (actually the North and Middle Forks combined, not yet joined by the South Fork) looking toward 'Little Si' - a separate small peak at the base of Mount Si.

A very nice painting. I would like to see a little more warmth and sharpness in the foreground bank --- that's all.
Very frameable.

Good tones and colours. You look to be stretching your verticals especially in the foreground. It is always best to measure vertical spacing as we are all very poor at judging by eye. Due to our eyes being arranged on the horizontal. Some artists can be seen turning their heads sideways to better judge...
