I have enjoyed watching the Quinten Gregory Video on painting water showing his process in both water color and oil. Even though I do not paint this realistically I have picked up several good tips. I love his soft blending technique with the oils and long sable brushes which he uses on edge and broadside. Not sure what his oil medium mixture consists of. Learned more of an appreciation for Cadmium orange, Sap Green and paynes gray in oil and WC.
What can you tell me about the frame he has around his water color as he works on the painting. I have not been able to find many of his paintings on line to determine how he eventually frames a water color.
My uncle went to art school in the early 50's and his paintings look similar.
Wish I could have watched. Any additional technical info would be appreciated. Thanks for the free weekend preview. Diane
