WIP Still life with Halos

8” x 10”. Oils on panel
Painted today, Alla Prima from life in natural light coming through a sliding glass door.
Using brushes only, I sketched the layout, blocked in color, then proceeded using the paint too thickly too soon in the process. I got a little overwhelmed chasing the changing light. So now I will wait for it to dry before make more adjustments. Comments welcome

Good composition and color choices.
You painted it well.
Using natural light gives a lively painting, but you only have if for a couple of hours a day.

I think it is beautiful. Especially the reflections.

This is absolutely beautiful! I don't know what "adjustments" you're planning, but easy does it — this has enchanted me as is ☀️ Thanks for sharing 🎨

Pinecone, thank you for commenting, glad you like it as is. I made very minor changes.
