Same thing here, but this sort of landscape comes mostly from imagination, with the help of reference photos, some of which I take myself and many of which I got on stock photo sites. :-)

I did grow up in the rural areas here, so my landscapes are to some extent paintings of my childhood. I wonder if other artists also find inspiration in childhood memories, or ideas or fantasies they had at the time? With me, in some ways, almost everything I paint comes from childhood.

dang June another new computer...you gotta go with mac....we are on our 2nd computer since we got on line, since I joined wetcanvas...and the we've only had the 2nd one not quite 2 yrs.........never had one quit OR break (except for the time lightning melted the mother board....got a complete replacement under warranty) we got a new one because it was becoming obsolete......

Hi Robin, I never thought to look into mac's!!

I usually get my pc from the same UK retailer, but this time I ordered via Amazon...maybe I'll have better luck with my laptop now!

getting ready for a henna offering at the coffee house . Got a new batch of rajasthani indis henna and am looking forward a nice stain. takes a couple days for the stain to darken though........the gig is tommorrow
