Individuo, love the combo, super colour, and I could just munch on that for brekky

My scav ht sketchy is just a sketch book I keep for doing most of the scavenger hunt sketches

Jo - always challenging list. Nice line work on the cover. Not a leather furniture fan. Hot in summer. Cold in Winter. But you made it look comfy.

Ai - Nice work on dog ad. Book cover is adorable. Use to love pictures in and on my son’s books. Couch looks comfy.

Scatty - Neat mug. I really love the distorted version Love
the memory sketch. He does not look happy like forced to do lawn. Book cover is well done and made me laugh

Individuo - not sure what looks juicier. Actual fruit…your watercolor pallett…or your painting. All look tempting.

Keep sketching
Joe

Scatty, hi there! Love the lawnmower....looks determined. The book cover looks good and sounds like the reading would be fun, too.

individuo, I haven't read that book either. Maybe this week. :-)
Your watercolor is just great -- yummy looking. I like the texture on the melon.

Joe, thanks. The leather furniture does look comfy but ..... not.

I painted with oils for practice yesterday. All the days here have been so nice. This is a view across the road.

Number 3, landscape - oils, 9 x 12 inches

Thank you Scatty, Joe and Jo.

Jo - Wow!, I can almost hear the singing of birds, very beautiful.

Ah!, thanks, for some reason I didn't relate ht to hunt and thought that scav was just a coincidence, not a very bright moment

Thanks all on my painting. Don’t play in oils much.

EP, you did great on the dogs. Hard to do. My mom played a ukelele so that book made me smile. She played the piano by ear, too. The ad is beyond my knowledge. Ha. Your couch looks comfy, too. An oak leaf on the egg carton. I like.

Hey, Paul! Nice to see you.

Off to sketch and post.

Re: Scavenger Hunt #599: Aug 17 - Aug 25

I sketched the porch last evening in the travel sketchbook with a Zig 05
Number 5 step - the step is a huge flat rock. There is a little welcome bear and one hanging on the pillar log. Cute.

Today in the larger watercolor sketchbook with watercolors. I need to really work at that and I am too lazy....

Number 6, watermelon - I bought one yesterday without even thinking it was on the list ... subconscious I guess.

Re: Scavenger Hunt #599: Aug 17 - Aug 25

Got a few more done:

Number 4, umbrella - did this the other day in the small sketchbook with a Prismacolor 05. Waiting for Gene at the grocery store. The umbrella isn't bad but I could not get the table and benches at the right angles. I could see the top of the table and also all four benches. Did it better at home but didn't save. Out of order, too.
Number 7, top shelf - top of cabinets - travel sketchbook with Micron 02
Number 8, glass - frosted glass shades on the ceiling light
Number 9, egg carton - half for hard boiled eggs
Number 10, pepper - these in watercolor, Pitt brush pen, Zig 05, Roller ball white

Re: Scavenger Hunt #599: Aug 17 - Aug 25

Hi everyone

I've had so much fun looking at all the sketches you all have done - so cool

Jo — Awhile back, I said I owed you a sketch and I haven't forgotten. I thought I'd be able to get at least that one sketch done for this event, but it looks like that won't be possible I have the stupidest tiny little injury, but it's right where it's totally in the way of sketching etc. I'm sorry I wasn't able to participate, but hope to get the sketch done for the next time you host.

Thanks for hosting another wonderful and inspiring event !!! 😄 ✨
