Thank you all for commenting. Which one, where and when? Frank, our paths might have crossed (depending on age!) we exercised quite often with the USN, especially in the Far East.

Jim, this is excellent watercolour. Your attention to detail is enviable, clearly done by someone who knows the ocean.

I was what I believe you would call an ‘Airedale’ or ‘Yellow Jacket’. 1958 till 1968. Three carriers Eagle, Ark Royal and Victorious. And a few Air Stations. I also spent a year or so in the Merchant Navy before joining the RN.
I wonder why I like painting Ships!?.
