The Grail Dancer

Last weekend I photographed a boat a friend on the Island built himself; she's beautiful, especially under full sail. The time has come for him to sell the boat and wanted photos for a web site ~ if anyone's interested in it let me know

I can't even imagine the work that goes into such an undertaking.

Your images show it off well. Kudos to you and your friend.

She is a beauty Carol! I would love to own it but my pockets are too shallow. Super photos!

Re: The Grail Dancer

I have no desire to own a boat like that but would love to go for a ride on it and take photos of it. But my photos wouldn't turn out as well as yours, these are superb. After using these to sell his boat, I am sure he'll want copies to hang on his wall for Memories. Carol. Have you gone for a ride on this sailing luxury liner?

Re: The Grail Dancer

Thanks everyone for your comments
I have been on her for short trips Lorell, never on the open ocean.
It's not exactly 'luxury' either, all the sails are manually hauled up and down - a lot of work. You'd have to love sailing and old-style boats to own it. Me I like to get on board, press a button and away you go!

Re: The Grail Dancer

I love to look at boats, but don't enjoy going out on them much...a fear of deep waters has always haunted me. These ships (and your photographs of them) are fantastic! Looks like a beautiful day!

Re: The Grail Dancer

It's amazing that this boat was built by your friend - it's absolutely stunning! Very regal looking under full sail, too.

Great photos of a lovely ship! I hope a buyer is found who will appreciate her for many years.

Nice work!
