Carol-A topic is the same as a thread, a post is an individual message that you contribute to that thread's topic and a new thread is about a different subject. If a thread is about apples, and you wanted to talk about oranges, you would start a new thread/topic. And yes, a reply is to a previous post.

Hi Jo
My first time to tone a canvas so I went to google to find out how.........
Since I use Water Mixable Oil decided to just mix the orange and burnt sienna on a plate and added lot of water.......I love orange so I added a little more.......mixed real good and made a very thin wash.......painted that on the canvas with big zigzag strokes let it sit a minute then wiped most of it off!
Sure is bright! Oh this is so much fun.........

I am working on the mountain and lake scene right now..............smiles to you dor : ))
