Re: 1955 Chevy Nomad Finally Finished

Dr Brad, Melodie, Mikki, Karen, Kat, Annette, Orchidacea, Khadres - thanks all!!

Diane - haven't done a 31 ford yet LOL

Peggy - I really had to MAKE myself finish. I was 3/4 of the way through and I liked it , it had just gotten tedious at some point. Glad I did it.

Re: 1955 Nomad WIP

CRIPES you are good with those pastels!! I might have to give wallis paper another go! Ever do a Carmann Ghia? (spelled right??) My father has an old '68 Ghia, would be cool to do one of those! And it's RED! He also has a '67 Studabaker, also red, and VERY VERY COOL!!!!!

Re: 1955 Nomad WIP

Whoa! Fantastic work...I love it.
I'm a car guy at heart, but I've yet to master them in my art. When I see work like this, I get all worked up to try another one...but I know that it will take at least one hundred more tries to get mine to look like this!!! I need to see more of your work.
I think this piece is fantastic...

Re: 1955 Nomad WIP

Thanks to all who commented. Meant to get back and say that sooner!

Paula, Christine thanks.

Cindy - funny, I don't like the landscape area much. Odd, huh?

Diane - last version posted (it is finished LOL)

Mike - go for it! I've done a couple of full cars, but I do like the close ups.

DrBrad and Linda - those headlights were a doozy, for sure.

Redstreake - Ha! My first car was an orange Karmann Ghia. And I used to live in So Bend Indiana where they made the Studebakers, way back when. Too cool, have several favorites.
