You have to be the queen of chrome! I love your work on shiny surfaces. Looking forward to the finish here.

Re: 1955 Nomad WIP

What a blast! This is another great one Johnnie...I'm pulling up a bucket seat to watch it progress.

What about car clubs? There are many well-heeled folks who collect and/or restore classic cars--I would think there'd be a big market among them--especially with the specific detail work you do, which would meake the cars readily identifiable to those in the know.

Slow? I'll tell you about slow. I've got about 12 hours into a 12 x 12 of a pile of onions from the WDE...I hope to post it by Friday, lol.

Re: 1955 Nomad WIP

Sandy & Mikki - thanks for looking... "queen of chrome"... cool, I'll take that

Diedre - yeah - high beam's on and we're movin forward here!

Orchid - thanks. We are build up our patience, no? You DO have a time investment in those onions!

More chrome rim around the headlight and some metal trim (which still needs softening)

Re: 1955 Nomad WIP

Are you using nupastel, polychromos, or pastel pencils for this piece?

Re: 1955 Nomad WIP

Susan - wow, thanks. I'll just park my car under your tree....

Julie - soooo slooooooow

Rose - that's good that it looks simple... in many ways it is.... if it was really complicated I probably couldn't do it LOL

O'Aieghlans - 10% NuPatels/Derwents for hard, 85% Rembrandts and 5% pencils. I have a failry good selection of CarbOthellos and 18 new Derwents : )
