Titanic From Californian

This is how I envision the RMS Titanic as she appeared from the deck of the SS californian on the night of the sinking. The officers on the Californian observed a ship on the distant horizon about 15-20 miles away, abd saw it firing 8 rockets-the same number the Titanic fired while she was sinking. it was later determined by the US Senate inquiry and The British Board Of Trade Inquiry that the Californian had indeed seen the Titanic that night, but did nothing.

Re: Titanic From Californian

Saw and commented in Acrylics. Fascinating story and an excellent (haunting) painting.
