Lea in Oil, WIP

Just finished the face today. Starting on the hair... any comments welcome.

This is beautiful. I can't tell without a ref photo but there seems to be something off with her upper lip on the viewer's left side (her right). Maybe she has a slight tilted smile. The eyes and skin tones are beautiful.

Wassie: Yeah, I struggled there. Here is the ref photo. I'm not sure how to fix it.

It does look like the reference. Maybe blend it out a little so it is not so noticeable.

A very nice painting but there is something about the eyes that doesn't feel right to me.

The upper lip is strongly curved and I don’t think you’ve quite caught the perspective. I marked out the lines of the upper lip on the portrait and ref which may help.
The eyes may be slightly too small.
