This is mind-boggling! I love it....what kind of paper are you working on? what size? Forgive me, if that's redundant...I did check and not find,

Re: Honfleur harbor France - wip

Hi, sorry for delay. The paper is 16*12inches 160g/m˛ DALER ROWNEY. Quite newbie with pastel pencils so I was not sure about this type of paper. I wanna try some different ones afterwards. Even the size looks small to me! But my desk fits this size, so it would be difficult to work on a bigger one... My aim is to use a bigger one though
Thx for watching!!

Hi, just a quick focus on the last details. Unfortunately I'm having internship for the coming one and half month, so I won't be available at my desk , BUT I will be back for more once back!

Really enjoying the progress of your painting, and your skill set is so admirable. The way you are working through this project reminds me of "building ships in a bottle" - painstaking, time consuming and extraordinary attention to detail.

Good luck and good fortune with working to complete your internship!

We are patient people Eric. It is going to be worth the wait and besides...it's great to stretch out a good thing.

I like Japonaise's take on building a ship in a bottle...very apt for this one.

Cheers, Di

Hi Dianna and thank you for your interest in this one. I guess so, it's worth the "long" wait and the final result will be very interesting, in terms of details. Anyway if the results meets my expectation I'm will devote more to this medium in the future...
Cheers, eric

What a beautiful view of Honfleur ! As I live nearby this little town, i know it well and I think you 've captured the feeling of it. Well done.
Seeing your avatar, I recognize you as "Eriku" who used to post your art on "crayons de couleur"! Small world !

Re: Honfleur harbor France - wip

It looks I've been discovered !! Yes mado I used to post on this one lately but since I've been using pastel, this medium doesn't match the very purpose of the forum, which is color pencils. But i'm glad to know you 're registered on "WetCanvas" and that we shall meet again Mado (maybe in Honfleur where I use to go)...
Thx for watching
