Re: Tanya WIP

Hi Nemon, actualy I curently use the whole range of pink, grey, and mid-dark purple, and chocolate tint to increase the contrast. The true challenge to me (which is also very interesting to experiment) is to render the lighting on the paper. As I love the hyper-realism, I think it is the Key technic.
This stage is the mouth and teeth definition. I think I made it

Re: Tanya WIP

"Amazing" is really acurate !
It is so smooth, so realistic....

Bravo Eric !

Re: Tanya WIP

Hi
Thank you very much for all of your nice coments that, as usual, push me ahead. So, no critics...? do not hesitate to stress some points to be improved or corrected. It's important to be told so from someone's outer point of view. Actualy my wife is good at ...

I've to notice that I won't be there next week for professional purposes, so no updates will be posted. Back on it afterwards !!

Re: Tanya WIP

Super fantastic! Far be it from me to crit. but do the teeth seem a little to far to her left, our right. I do not know if gravity is working to pull the upper lip down which would make the teeth to seem out of position. Regardless, she is very well done. Bob

yep bobby, I don't want to betray the original photograph but, there's a slight gap between the axis of the nose and the teeth. I was not sure from the start, do I have to correct or keep it as the real picture. Finally I keep the original one...

With the accuracy that you have displayed, I suspected that your painting was true to the photo. I would keep it as it is. Lovely, lovely painting. Please keep the WIP's coming as time allows. Bob
