WIP - A Portrait of my Grandson

Iíve been working on a portrait of my grandson the last couple of weeks. He had been out finding Easter eggs on a hot afternoon. I know I neeed to ckean up some edges and fine tune some facial features... But I feel pretty good about how itís shaping up so far. C&C welcomed! 😊😊😊

Very charming portrait. Lovely soft light and great rendering of the hair.

Re: WIP - A Portrait of my Grandson

The portrait is wonderful, love the flush in the face and everything else. There is a shadow all the way around the head I think you should give the background some more consideration so it will support the portrait more, give it a job. Since it is just paint you can afford to play with it some.
