My Grandson, Jack (WIP)

Iíve been working on a portrait of my grandson the last couple of weeks. I know I neeed to ckean up some edges and fine tune some facial features... But I feel pretty good about how itís shaping up so far. C&C welcomed! 😊😊😊

I'm really taken with his eyes. This is just beautiful.

Re: My Grandson, Jack (WIP)

I love this portrait and part of the reason I do is the broken edges on the shoulders and in the background and especially the hair. Beware of cleaning it up too much or lose the spontaneous feel. It's beautiful as it is.

This may be my favorite of yours yet! It's skillfully done and so full of character, Michael. I agree about stepping away from the easel.

Re: My Grandson, Jack (WIP)

I agree with Clive, the broken edges immediately attracted my attention, as lovely. Keep them, tend to agree with the others, maybe call it done.
cheers
Donna
