What a fantastic composition. that little boat bow to the left that could take you out of the picture is stopped by the horizontal ripple pf water, let to the right, repointed up by the right hand boat bow to the distant, opposite shore, across the the right shore with that lovely curving tree bringing you back down to the left hand boat… sweet. I really enjoy this painting.

The white pier grabbed my attention when I first looked at it. I would tone it down some. Rest is lovely.

Lovely warm colours and varied greens are a fine backdrop to the gently moving boats in the fg. Very nice.
