April 1, 2019 at 6:01 pm #807345Nice effort, SoCalDan. Are you going to refine that “smudge” style appearance, or is that the technique you are going to stay with? I notice it could really “pop” if you went grittier in a couple of pieces, like the city scenes you painted awhile ago. Do you also use a stylus in your electronic art?

Thanks Lawrence…I really haven’t given any thought to the style. It just is the way they turn out. I kind of like the “Abstracty” feel it creates. I have been drawing on my phone with a stylus for about 6 years and I guess I have developed a sort of style. I have done some more refined/crisp pieces but I really just let the moment create itself. I don’t put a lot of thought into them. I really don’t use a computer anymore…I do all my digital art and photo editing on my phone using a stylus. It used to be pretty challenging, but now it is pretty natural.
April 1, 2019 at 7:13 pm #807346It’s a style your own for sure.
