Irwin - Great sketches! I love the one of your son especially. I've given up trying to post from here...just too hard on an unfamiliar computer. Thanks for the offer to straighten them out.

Lin- I love the shells!!! Great setup! Nice job on your foot too.

I am heading back to NY tomorrow. I will stop in southern Maine to see some artwork done by a friend that is in a gallery down there. I've given myself a few hours to find a spot for plein air painting down there (maybe a view of the rocky coast or a boat dock), as well as having another taste of lobster before I leave the state. If I can get to a computer on Saturday I'll post the few sketches that I did for the hunt, otherwise I'll hope they are good for the next hunt too. lol Have a great night everyone!!

Re: Scavenger Hunt 279 - Aug 9-17

Irwin: Awesome sketches your sketches are always so crisp and confident simply amazing.... nice job on your son sounds like you had a great time at the coffee shop... the grapes, battery and watch are very nicely done but that watch is particularly well done almost photographic in terms of realism.... Well didnt get anymore done I have been spending my time repairing and replacing stuff that is breaking down .... thanks for hosting !!!

Lin: Very nice sketches and love the color scheme.... set up of the shells is super and great idea for group of seven..... great Olympics by our friends in the UK enjoyed the opening and closing ceremonies quite a bit. Sometimes I forget how many great musicians and other artist came from the UK, quite exciting.....
