Hi again, I got so many good tips from all of you that I took another crack at it, I will post both the before and after. I still have a long way to go, but I am getting better, I think, thanks to your help.

Doug, I am framing it and sending it to new mom and dad.

Iuvien, it is about 8" x 8", I have a 9"x 12" block of paper that I have been working on.

The second one is so soft and beautiful. The first one is good, but the second one is definitely a special painting to be proud of.
