Another attempt at Gouache after getting inspired by James Gurney. From photo reference I took (9” x 10.5” on watercolor paper). I feel some measure of success after considerable struggle, due to lack of practical experience with the medium and the small size of the piece. I think more struggle with working small, but want to get better at that so I can work smaller in the field.
