Type of Paper: 180 g Arches
The Size: 1/4 sheet, 30 cm x 40 cm

I bought a new brand of masking fluid and wanted to try it. Therefor another winter painting, besides spring.
The High Fens is an upland area and wetland between Belgium and Germany and became a nature reservation. It has a subalpine climate with strong winds and fierce winters, which are occasionally subarctic.

Die limitierte Palette sieht ja stark aus um diese
winterliche Atmosphäre zu gestalten!

The limited range looks so strong around this

Beautiful winter scene, Esther. I like the composition with bare spaces between the vegetation, the three main trees, the one lone pine next to them and the misty trees in the background. Cold winter sky looks like more snow may be on the horizon.
