Before Lin sends either Dave two legs or Dave 4 legs to beat up on me let me get Lin's work down for the month end gallery:

Sorry Lin...and I thought I was doing so well.

Re: March 2012 Oil Pastel Challenge
PJ great job. I really like the soft focus on this one and you got a surprising amount of detail in your work.
What size is your image and the type paper and brand of OPs???

Re: March 2012 Oil Pastel Challenge
Thank you Hal, I picked up a set of expressionists which are not available in Thailand... I was pleasantly surprised by them. The paper is 7.5 x 11 rough, brand is master art.
I could have done a lot more and worked more on the boat but I noticed it was starting to get too busy and I meant to suggest more than express in this one, so I left it....
Almost forgot to mention ... I used reeves water soluble oil pastels for the initial wash

Re: March 2012 Oil Pastel Challenge
PJ I think you did a great job. I also think it is better to suggest than to show.
