started getting sloppy and had to quit I'm not liking the fly, eye, bottom jaw, but I will go back and re-ink those after I get it almost complete. Next piece- something with hair, trust me.

I forgot to add this on last post. Just a close up for those interested. My fellow fly tyers would not be impressed with the fly. I might change it to something else that would look better in color. I just don't want to use the egg pattern from the original reference photo.

This is coming along wonderfully!! I think the fly is great> I tie some of my own, but I am not a great tyer. I use the old saying about the flys I tie a lot- It doesn't hav eto be beautiful to catch fish! This bow looks great!

well, I fixed the eye, I think? I can't get the fingers right they are driving me nuts . I started getting in a hurry with the scales and got out of line a little so I'm done for the day. I can almost see the end in sight.

This looks better and better. I love the detail on the finger with the creases next to the nail. Little things like that make this excellent!
