Lovely. What precautions do you take to keep white areas clean and free from smudges, etc?

Re: Birds Of A Feather WIP

Thanks for commenting, Stacey.

Thank you, Harry.

Thanks Hector. I treat it pretty much like a black board and if any smudges happen I can just sand them away. Cleaning up a white board is easier than a black one.

Thank you, John.

Thanks Margaret.

Here is the latest scan. I have stared scratching the head of the first bird and then applied more ink. It isn't done yet, but it will give you an idea of where I am going with this.

Awesome! I know black boards are your forte, but I LOVE to see when you work on white board. Beautiful color.

Diana,

What brand of inks do you use and do you use any kind of solvent while working with them....

Re: Birds Of A Feather WIP

Thanks, Amy. It is a refreshing change to work on a white board.
Thank you Stacey!
Thanks Angela, means a lot coming from the bird lady!
Thank you Sean! Mostly I use the Ampersand inks. When I am all done I will probably touch it up with some Prisma color pencils. Ampersand inks can be diluted with water. One of the joys of working with a white board is any mistakes can be erased with sand paper. And BTW I spilled some on my good dining table and didn't spot it til the next morning and it came right off with rubbing alcohol.

Here is the latest photo. I made another before and after.

Diana

Re: Birds Of A Feather WIP

Diana, what black ink did you use to start with...brush or pen? You have inspired me to try this process on a large giraffe I'm starting...
