Sacramento St. San Fran

Found an older painting the other day, and decided to heavily rework a few areas. I don't believe I ever posted it. This a wet San Fran Chinatown scene somewhere around Sacramento St. Oil on board 12 x 16.

I'll consider it a success if the wet feel comes through. Thanks Lyn!

Re: Sacramento St. San Fran

Wow this is really good. I especially like how you paint the cars; there's just something about your quick painting that adds the right combination of shadow, sheen, and contrast onto them. Your use of grayish tones on here is great too. You have a good skill with painting urban areas. Your precision looks good, the gray, gritty atmosphere is very well captured in this painting.
