Ben -- I was on the North shore too this weekend. So HOT-- I didn't get as much done as I wanted to. And we did not have any air conditioning to retreat to. Will post the two I did manage tomorrow.
You were so right about the flys. I had blood running down my legs from them. They really spoiled a beautiful morning painting. I should have listened and bought the bug juice with as much DEET in it as possible. I bought the good smellling one and I think they liked it. I can see the potential in all of them. Is #4 Two Harbors? I stayed in the Burlinton Bay camp ground. Had fun enough to go back later this summer --IF the gas prices don't go out of reach.

I was at the Earthwood Inn in Two Harrbors!!!! Not far from you at all. If I think right, your camp site may be at the extreemmmeeee right edge of the paitning!!!!!!!!!!! I waas painting at the Lighthouse Park, if you know where that is? a really nice place!!!! Thanks for looking in.

Ben--Actually we were in the other harbor just to the north of the Light House Harbor. Nice place to camp if you are into that. Weren't you tempted to paint the light house? There is so much to do up there that I just have to go back. It would be a good place for Marc or Larry to have a painting retreat or class.
