A response to the All Media Weekly Drawing Event.
This is oil on board, around 12 x 14 inches. The palette is blue black, van Dyck brown, Naples yellow and viridian but it is effectively a monochrome.

The reference is simply given as a pexel’s free photos image. I have to admit I wasn’t familiar with David Kassan. I googled him but didn’t see this ref among his paintings. Pretty impressive though!

Bethany thanks for the link. That’s an impressive drawing Mr. Kassan is working on, like his other portraits. Is it the same subject? Certainly looks rather like him though with different hair styling. As I say, the WDE ref is not very informative.C&C always welcome.
