Carousel horses
Dear All,
I noticed today that even though I painted many carousel horses sometime ago I forgot to share them with you. Here they come, the first lot....

Re: Carousel horses
These are absolutly beautiful! Carosel Horses are so cool.
Were these painted for an actual carosel or were they to be sold individually? Did the customer tell you excatly how to paint each one or did you have some freedom to the themes and colors?
Thanks for posting these

Re: Carousel horses
Hi Kevin,

Thank you for the post. How are you doing?
These were all a team for one carousel. Probably you have noticed that they were from one mould and exactly the same before being painted. I tried to make each one a bit exciting for children with color and patterns on them. So each one is unique with regards to airbrushing tasks..custom painted horses . As my studio is not really big enough to paint and store them after being painted, I had to travel to the customer's place everyday. I really wish to have a larger space for these jobs because I love painting carousel parts and theme park toys. Tough life... !!!
The customer didn't tell me much about what to do, but he liked the results.
Cheers, Can...

Re: Carousel horses
That is such and awesome project! I am super jealous - mostly because I am a horse nut - but also cause you got to be so creative with them making each of them unique. Lovely.

Re: Carousel horses
Thanks Shani,
I just checked out your website and I was jealeous too... Nicely organized, and very useful for beginners...
Being a Canadian you may probably give me some ideas; we are about to decide to spend some time either in USA or in Canada for my wife's academic research purposes. Interest for airbrush art works makes us consider a bit. It seems USA is the place for custom painting jobs, but we'd like to know the popularity of airbrush art in Canada to make our mind up...
If you'd bother to give us a few tips that are hard to be discovered from abroad, I'd really be grateful to you.
Any comments from anyone about this would help me to know better before any decisions are taken....

Re: Carousel horses
Hi Steve,
Sorry for my very very late reply. Unfortunately I don't know where these horses are at the moment. The people I painted them for could sold them abroad or they have been all around the country, if only I could find them, because they still owe me some amount of this paint job. After seeing these horses another theme park manufacturer asked me to paint 3 horses for him, which were slightly smaller size than these. He does sell a lot of his products abroad, but since I have been away, I have lost contact with him for over 2 years, I wonder where he sold them.
For anyone working with the theme park manufacturers I could recommend to get their payment in advance....

Re: Carousel horses
Hi Todd,
Great to see you. I have been usually late for responding, but starting from next month I hope to be more online, as we hope to move back to our home country permanently...The weather is as bad as it can get around here though, what a compliment after deciding to move back... We have been sick as a family. It might take some time to adjust ourselves I guess...
