Help with intuos photo

I am planning on buying a wacom tablet for digital painting, but the only intuos that I can found is the intuos photo, I'm not sure if the intuos photo can be used for painting and how good it is for painting.

Can you tell me if it can be used for painting in programs like autodesk sketchbook or gimp?

And can this model be used on linux or only windows and mac?

I'm not sure about that but when I buy a tablet I order directly from Wacom. If you go to the site you can choose from all the tablets. They might also have information about linux or you might have to contact them.

Re: Help with intuos photo

Hi. I have used a number of intuos tablets and there can be problems.
You do not show your location but I recommend purchasing via Amazon you get the benefit down the line particularly in Europe of Amazon taking items back. Returns might be available in other countries.
Example of problems I have experienced my PC would not download drivers for a particular model (and I was not the only one)
When operating well they are nice tools with lots of buttons etc.

Have you tried the I pad pro and Apple Pencil. They are wonderful and ver portable. Easy to use and easy to take with you. Procreate is a very good drawing painting program

Re: Help with intuos photo

I found this Youtube review of the tablet and reading the comments it looks like you would be able to use it for painting with various programmes.
